Jamaican youths dance in the "wine pon it" style, a graphic simulation of sex that is common in Jamaican dance parties even amongst the youngest of party-goers, December 15, 2008 in the Trenchtown district of central Kingston. Hyper-sexuality amongst teenagers in Jamaica fuels a high teen pregnancy rate in the inner-city, and a continuing problem with children born out of wedlock that has broken down the traditional family structure. Critics point to this breakdown as a leading factor fueling inner city problems in Jamaica, including the high levels of violence and murder.
