An elderly Palestinian woman sits amid the rubble of her family's destroyed home January 23, 2009 in the Juhor al-Dik neighborhood southeast of Gaza City. The 21 member family is now homeless after their family compound was destroyed by Israeli tanks and bulldozers during the recent 22 day Israeli military operation in the Gaza strip. The United Nations is warning that the residents of Gaza have suffered extreme emotional and psychological trauma during the recent weeks of violence.
