Several protestors and an Egyptian security force officer attempt to calm and dialog with a the larger crowd of protestors from atop a riot police truck during a brief cease-fire that took place in between demonstrations November 21, 2011 near Tahrir square in central Cairo, Egypt. The cease-fire held for about 15 minutes before returning to pitched street battles. Thousands of protestors demanding the military cede power to a civilian authority clashed with Egyptian security forces for a third straight day in Cairo, with hundreds injured and at least 24 protestors killed.
