A former helipad has been converted to a security and command center aboard the Al Basrah Oil terminal (ABOT) 50 kilometers of the Southern Iraq coast in the North Arabian Gulf. ABOT was built in the early 1970's and today still remains a crucial piece of Iraq's oil infrastructure, pumping more than 90% of Iraq's total oil exports.
