Hip Hop soul legend Mary J Blige reaches out to Nigerian fans during her performance at the ThisDay music and fashion festival July 13, 2008 in Lagos, Nigeria. Blige joined pop star Chris Brown and rapper Fat Joe along with a host of Nigerian acts and a number of fashion designers to support the festival in this, its' third year. The festival, themed "Africa Rising", aims to raise awareness of African issues while promoting positive images of Africa using music, fashion and culture in a series of concerts and events in Nigeria, the United States and the United Kingdom. .
