Abdul Maula (C) holds an image of his dead son that he took minutes before in August 15, 2014 at the Health Insurance Hospital morgue in the Nasr City district of Cairo, Egypt. Maula must navigate a complex bureaucratic process of permits and autopsies in order to get the body of his son out of the morgue and laid to rest. A day after violent raids by security forces on sit-in protest camps of the supporters of deposed Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, the country is trying to come to terms with the news that at least 600 people were killed and thousands more injured.
