Rival factions clash in Cairo

An injured opponent of deposed President Mohamed Morsi is carried evacuated from violent clashes between Pro and anti-Morsi factions that kicked off in the late afternoon July 22, 2013 in Cairo, Egypt and have claimed at least one life in the capital. The clashes began when Pro-Morsi demonstrators marched close to Tahrir square, where dozens of Anti-Morsi demonstrators remain camped out, sparking dangerous running battles throughout the neighborhood that claimed at least one life and wounded dozens of others. Supporters from both sides mainly threw rocks at each other, but a few from both sides had and used pistols and shotguns during the clashes.
