U.S. Army soldiers from the 101st Airborne move through the eastern Afghan village of Hesarak on July 16, 2002 during what the Army refers to as a 'sensitive site exploitation' mission or 'SSE'. The army says that Hesarak was raided for the first time four days ago when undisclosed intelligence materials were gathered. Today's raid was intended both to search for more materials and to provide some hunanitarian aid to local residents.
