The two sons of the former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein were cornered in an affluent home in the northern city of Mosul and killed in what U.S. military officials described as a fierce firefight that lasted for several hours. U.S. forces continue to guard the site of the raid, and had a few squirmishes today with local Iraqis who came as curiousity seekers to the site today but were "acting suspiciously."
