An elaborately costumed elephant marches in the Kandy Perahera outside the Temple of the Tooth (Dalada Maligawa) in Kandy, Sri Lanka August 12, 2008. The Perahera is an annual celebration in which a hundred elephants, and groups of dancers, drummers and acrobats take part in a procession that includes a replica of the casket that contains the tooth relic.
