BREDJING, CHAD- AUGUST 29: A refugee girl from the Darfur region of Sudan waits for aid to be distributed in the spontaneous overflow camp outside the Bredjing camp in neighboring Chad. An estimated 12,000 people now live in the overflow camp in addition to the more than 37,000 refugees housed inside the Bredjing refugee camp, Chad's largest. Aid workers warn that if the situation in Darfur does not improve soon, thousands more Sudanese could flood into neighboring Chad, quickly overwhelming already strained resources to feed and house them.
