British Operation Buzzard officially ends as Royal Marines of 45 Commando "Yankee" company return to Bagram airbase and clear their weapons July 9, 2002 after their mission in South Eastern Afghanistan. Operation Buzzard was the last planned combat mission for the British forces, who are expected to complete their troop pullout from Afghanistan later this month.
