A fire damaged mural of Jesus is seen inside the Monastery of Emir Tadros church (est 1598) August 20, 2013 after a recent attack by Muslims in the village of Nazla, located near el Fayoum, around a 100 kilometers South of Cairo, Egypt. Christian villagers report 2 churches and a monastery in the area came under attack by their Muslim neighbors on the same day as Egyptian security forces were moving to forcibly disperse the sit-in camp of the supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi.
