Iraqi Shiites store owner Naama Mahdi Hameed displays pictures of himself taken after sustaining wounds several months ago in a brazen daylight attack by sectarian gunman in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Shiite shop owner in the predominately Sunni neighborhood of Jamiyah, Hameed was repeatedly warned to leave and then attacked by gunmen who shot him 7 times. Fearful of further attacks, Hameed asked that his face be obscured partially in the portrait and has made plans to leave Iraq for neighboring Jordan in order to escape rising sectarian violence.
