Family members mourn during the funeral of slain Jamaican Constabulary Force (JCF) officers Cornel Grant and Delano Lawrence June 15, 2008 funeral at the Hagley Park Road Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kingston, Jamaica. Twelve Jamaican police officers were killed in the line of duty during 2008, down from 19 the year previous. In addition to being in the line of fire, Jamaican Police have one the worlds highest rates of fatal shootings of suspects leading to accusations that the force is both corrupt and ill-trained.
