Although the salafis and youth revolutionaries draw from different ends of the political spectrum, they have managed to find common ground in demonstrations against the Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF) and in their support of Egyptian Islamist presidential candidate Abdul Moneim Aboul Fotouh.
