Partially melted steel beams lie where they have fallen inside the burned and looted ruins of the Monastery of Emir Tadros' St. Samuel the Confessor Chapel August 20, 2013 a week after an attack by Muslims in the village of Nazla, located near el Fayoum, around a 100 kilometers South of Cairo, Egypt. Christian villagers report 2 churches and a monastery in the area came under attack by their Muslim neighbors on the same day as Egyptian security forces were moving to forcibly disperse the sit-in camp of the supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi.
