The Israeli Defense Forces claim their sustained campaign has significantly degraded smuggling tunnels along the corridor and the damaged the ability of HAMAS to smuggle weapons and cash into the Strip, but it has also killed civilians unlucky to have been still in the vicinity of targeted neighborhoods.
