Afghan girls attend classes at the Bi-Bi Khadija Tol Kobra girls school June 8, 2002 in Kunduz, Afghanistan. Soldiers from the U.S. Army 489th Civil Affairs Battalion oversaw the reconstruction and equipping of the school, which educates some 4,000 girls, as part of the ongoing Operation Enduring Freedom.
